Curiosity Spins Its Wheels

This video clip shows a half dozen engineers gathered around the Curiosity rover as they get it ready to spin its wheels for the first time. All six wheels spun at once for several rotations. Engineers just recently installed the wheels on the rover, which will land on Mars wheels first in the summer of 2012.

A woman says "That's so bad." "There's no load on these (not audible)." Another engineer says "Hum . . . there it is. Wow." More claps.
