What are the official days/hours of the event?

  • Saturday, April 29, 2023 - 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 30, 2023 - 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

How early may I arrive?

You must arrive at the designated time printed on your ticket or anytime thereafter.

You will NOT be allowed entry before your designated time.

What can I bring to JPL?

  • A printed ticket per person
  • A valid ID (18 and older)
  • Cameras and mobile phone devices. (Professional camera equipment, i.e., detachable telephoto lenses, are prohibited)
  • Enthusiasm matched by patience
  • Small handbags or backpacks (these items will be inspected at entry gate)
  • Strollers and wheelchairs as needed (these items will be inspected at entry gate)
  • Sunscreen, hats and comfortable shoes for walking
  • Water and small snacks (food vendors will be on site)

What can I NOT bring to JPL?

  • Animals (except certified service animals)
  • Cannabis (marijuana) or any kind of illegal drugs
  • Alcohol
  • Hard-sided Coolers
  • Banners, signs, flags, use of laser pointers, firecrackers/fireworks, boom boxes, air horns, whistles, and musical instruments
  • Awnings, tents, and other bulky items
  • Bicycles, tricycles, Segways, and skateboards
  • Glass containers and ice chests
  • Walkie-talkies, drones or other remote-control devices
  • Weapons of any kind including firearms (no exceptions), knives of any shape or size, explosives or other incendiary devices
  • Professional camera equipment, i.e., detachable telephoto lenses

How do I update/edit the name(s) on my ticket(s)?

Go to http://www.eventbrite.com/mytickets and log in with your email and password and follow instructions.

Do I need a ticket for my child?

Children under two years of age do not require a ticket. All other attendees MUST have a ticket to enter. Persons over 18 years of age MUST have a valid government issued ID that matches the name on their ticket.

Is JPL wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Yes. The areas will be clearly marked. If you cannot find these areas, please locate a JPL representative wearing a red shirt.

Will there be restrooms available?

Yes. They will clearly be marked and available in certain locations across the Lab.

Can you accommodate a person with special needs?

Yes. Please contact JPL’s Public Services office at explore@jpl.nasa.gov or call 818 354 1234.

What can I expect to see at this event?

There are many exhibits to experience. Some are available inside buildings and some are outside under tents. There will be several movies, multiple spacecraft on display, a historical building to walk thru and many scientists and engineers to chat with. Upon entering the event, you will be provided a printed map with the open venues.

Where can I park? Is free parking available?

Yes. We offer free parking on site. As you approach JPL, parking attendants will guide you where to park. For directions please click here.
