“Project Hail Mary” actors Ryan Gosling and Sandra Hüller toured JPL’s Space Flight Operations Facility – also known as Mission Control – on Feb. 25, 2026, following a panel discussion with creative team behind the film adaptation of Andy Weir’s bestselling book.

NASA supported the creative team behind the movie with subject matter experts who answered questions from the crew, and NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren met with Gosling during filming to share insights on human spaceflight and being an astronaut.
