This 360-degree panorama was taken by Dusty, a fully-working replica of NASA's Opportunity rover at the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The panorama was taken as part of a software test.

This 360-degree panorama was taken by "Dusty," a fully-working replica of NASA's Opportunity rover at the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The panorama was taken as part of a software test. Members of the Opportunity team gathered to sit in during the panorama.

The panorama was taken by Dusty's Panoramic Camera, or Pancam, on Sept. 6, 2018.

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of Caltech in Pasadena, California, manages the Mars Exploration Rover Project for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington.
