
2026 OPERA Stakeholder Engagement Workshop
OPERA will host a 4.5-hr (8:30 am - 1:00 pm PDT) hybrid workshop at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026.
Participation is open to US federal agencies, contractors, the commercial sector, and academic researchers. To register and receive the meeting link, please use the OPERA 2026 Workshop Registration Form.
In this OPERA workshop, we will report on the following:
- OPERA’s continued operation.
- Geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) development with OPERA.
- Learn how stakeholders are using OPERA products.
- OPERA product updates:
- NISAR-based DSWx and DISP products beginning in 2026
- Sentinel-1 and NISAR-based VLM products beginning in 2028
- Current product suite (2023-present): Dynamic Surface Water eXtent (DSWx), Surface Disturbance (DIST), and Surface Displacement (DISP)
- Demonstrate how to access OPERA products via common platforms:
- Google Earth Engine, QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.
