The Jet Propulsion Laboratory will serve as one of two sites in Southern California for a national teleconference on changes in federal procurement regulations, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The JPL teleconference will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, in Building 126, Room 107. JPL is located at 4800 Oak Grove Drive in Pasadena. Hughes Aircraft Company will broadcast the teleconference simultaneously in Building 618, Room E023. Hughes Aircraft is located at 1901 W. Malvern Ave., Fullerton.
Guest speakers from the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, the Department of Defense and the U.S. Small Business Administration will participate in the discussion of changes in procurement procedures that were implemented by the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act. The teleconference is intended to provide small business owners with information on changes in the way they will be conducting business with the federal government.
Because of limited seating at both locations, reservations are required and may be made by contacting the U.S. Small Business Administration at (818) 552-3217. For further information about the JPL location, contact Mary Helen Ruiz in the JPL Contractor Capabilities Office at (818) 354-7532.
