General AudienceOverview:
For Earth Day 2024, NASA is asking the public to share a selfie or photo in their favorite place on Earth – bonus points if it’s near water! Our "blue marble" is about 71% covered by water, and it’s one of the main reasons why Earth is like no other planet we’ve found in this solar system or beyond. Join us in sharing a #GlobalSelfie on social media for Earth Day, April 22, and see the article linked below for even more ways to celebrate with NASA.
Plus, explore these STEM lessons and activities from JPL Edu to engage students in Earth and climate science.
