Postdocs

Objectives of Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Postdoc Office include:

  • Manage and oversee the various postdoc programs.
  • Sustain a support infrastructure for the postdoc community throughout their lifecycle.
  • Create platforms for postdocs to showcase their research and network with JPL’s research community.
  • Advocate and address institutional requirements or changes affecting the postdoc and advisor communities.
  • Support the postdoc advisor community with administrative processes and advisor mentoring and development.

Contributions and opportunities for postdocs include:

  • Become an integral part of a research group by infusing fresh expertise and perspectives.
  • Engage in original research that leads to first-author peer-reviewed publications, contributing to JPL's scientific output and enhancing the postdoc’s reputation within the scientific community.
  • Strengthen research skills to continue the journey towards becoming an accomplished and independent researcher in your field.
  • Build a strong professional network, internally and externally.
  • Work on professional trajectories.
