Objectives of Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Postdoc Office include:
- Manage and oversee the various postdoc programs.
- Sustain a support infrastructure for the postdoc community throughout their lifecycle.
- Create platforms for postdocs to showcase their research and network with JPL’s research community.
- Advocate and address institutional requirements or changes affecting the postdoc and advisor communities.
- Support the postdoc advisor community with administrative processes and advisor mentoring and development.

JPL Postdoctoral Program

NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP)
The NPP provides some of the most talented new and senior fellows with opportunities to participate in NASA mission-related activities as guests at NASA Centers, Headquarters, and other NASA-approved sites, such as JPL. It provides the opportunity for concentrated research for up to a two-year appointment.
