Juan M. Socuellamos is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Radar Concepts and Formulation group. He is working on the development and data analysis of novel millimeter-wave atmospheric radars, including compact and low-cost instruments to profile inside clouds and precipitation, and differential absorption radars to retrieve the oxygen and water vapor content in the atmosphere. Prior to joining JPL, Juan was involved in cosmology experiments to search for dark matter candidates and to study the Cosmic Microwave Background.
