Lisa Haber
Chief of Staff
Lisa Haber was appointed Chief of Staff in July 2023. She serves as a key advisor to the Director, providing strategic planning and day-to-day oversight of the Laboratory’s executive, administrative, managerial, and business activities.
Lisa joined JPL in 2009 and has held key roles and responsibilities across JPL’s portfolio. Notably, Lisa was the assistant program manager of Mars Sample Return’s Program Office, the assistant manager of the National Security Program Office, a group supervisor for the Mission Support & Policy Analysis Group and Contracts Management. She is a recipient of multiple NASA Honor Awards, including the Medal for Exceptional Public Achievement.
Before joining JPL, Lisa worked for the Northrop Grumman Corporation and the Defense Intelligence Agency. She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Russian from the University of Denver. She holds a professional certification in Government Contract Management.
