Jennifer Ibrahim
Deputy Director of Finance

Jennifer Ibrahim is the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In this role, she leads strategic planning efforts and ensures fiscal accountability and compliance across the Lab’s financial and operational strategies. She oversees core functions including accounting, institutional budgeting, operational performance, project and program controls and execution, and stewardship of JPL’s prime contract with NASA.
Jennifer brings over 25 years of experience leading business operations in complex engineering, scientific, and research environments. Prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Director for Business in the Laboratory Operations Directorate, where she oversaw finance, contracts, program business management, acquisition, facilities, and enterprise business systems. She led multi-year financial planning, institutional investment strategies, and partnered across the Lab to modernize business systems and processes.
Her previous roles include Operations and Business Manager for JPL’s Engineering and Science Directorate and Division Operating Officer for Caltech’s Division of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy. In these positions, she managed large multidisciplinary teams and supported research centers and observatories across multiple states.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of La Verne.
