Brian Corcoran, Chief Financial Officer and Director for Laboratory Operations Integration (Acting)

Brian Corcoran was appointed acting Chief Financial Officer and Director for Laboratory Operations Integration in May 2024. In this role, he leads JPL’s strategic development, as well as fiscal accountability and compliance of JPL’s financial and operational strategies, policies, and practices.

Brian also serves as assistant director for finance, and previously was the Lab’s controller and manager of the Controller and Financial Planning Office. He joined JPL in 2010 as a member of the Payroll, Labor, and Cost Accounting Section, and has held a number of key positions, including group supervisor for Cost Accounting, section manager for Institutional Financial Analysis and Reporting, and deputy division manager for Financial Management. Prior to JPL, Brian held accounting roles at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and at Orange Coast College.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and his MBA from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
