About
Bio
Cecilia Lopez-Gamundi is a remote sensing geoscientist. Her interests lie in the shallow marine world - from its biota and their biogeochemical cycling, to its sediments and their morphologies, to the physical forces that sculpt them both. Although her PhD was in optical remote sensing of coral reefs, she has now shifted to using radar to monitor wetlands. Investigating both using hydrodynamic modeling, super computers, and machine learning are her expertise.
