An art fair benefiting the Jet Propulsion Laboratory/Caltech Child Education Center will be held at JPL, 4800 Oak Grove Dr., Pasadena, on Oct. 17-19, 1986.

The fair is free and open to the public, and will feature art and craft exhibits and demonstrations, entertainment, and silent auction of donated goods and services. Multimedia shows describing JPL's unmanned space program will be screened in von Karman Auditorium. Supervised activities for children will also be offered.

Part of the proceeds of sales of art and crafts at the fair will go toward the support of the Child Education Center, which provides day care and early childhood education to children of parents working at JPL, Caltech, and the local community.

The fair will be held in the central mall of the laboratory from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18 and 19.
