A morning-long workshop for toy and game manufacturers will be held Tuesday, July 16, at NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory to give companies access to JPLs present and future mission concepts and to inspire ideas for novel toys, services, CDs and other creative multimedia applications.
The workshop also will display software tools that have been developed to manage and interpret data from a variety of missions to the solar systems planets and asteroids.
JPLs Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office will present a variety of opportunities for collaboration and licensing in conjunction with educational products. The office cooperates with U.S. businesses, both large and small, to transfer technologies and other intellectual property to enhance their competitiveness in the world market.
The workshop is free, but space is limited and pre- registration is required. Registration forms are available at the Web address http://www-techtrans.jpl.nasa.gov/events.html. The form may be faxed back to Joan Horvath at (818) 393-1366, or sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
