The twin Voyager spacecraft were launched in August and September of 1977 to explore the giant outer planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus. Thirty years later and billions of miles from Earth, both craft are healthy and send data back daily as they approach the edge of our solar system.
