Peaks of Iapetus
Saturn's moon Iapetus Peaks of Iapetus

Huge mountains are discernible in this three-dimensional look at Saturn's moon Iapetus. The brightness pattern is very complex. The right flank of the mountain is dark, while the other sides are bright. The Cassini spacecraft captured this view during its very close flyby in 2007.
