Large Magellanic Cloud Stellar Debris
This is a composite image of a tremendously bright exploded star, or supernova remnant, in a small nearby galaxy called the Large Magellanic Cloud. This combined view shows the remnant in infrared, X-ray and optical light. NASA's three Great Observatories -- the Spitzer Space Telescope, the Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Hubble Space Telescope -- contributed to this view.
