"Countdown to Mars" will be hosted by Bill Nye, "the Science Guy," with guests including Dr. Joy Crisp, the rovers' project scientist at JPL.
The program is produced by Passport to Knowledge with support from the National Science Foundation and NASA, and will be part of nationwide events for Space Day.
