Video Transcript: Animation of Curiosity Rover's Arm Movements for Taking a Self-Portrait

This animation shows how the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) camera at the end of the arm of NASA's Mars rover Curiosity was positioned for taking multiple images that were later combined into a self-portrait of the rover. The animation was made using software that rover planners use to design Curiosity's movements. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
