JPL TO HOST WORKSHOP FOR TOY MAKERS
A morning-long workshop for toy and game manufacturers will
be held Tuesday, July 16, at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to
give companies access to JPL’s present and future mission
concepts and to inspire ideas for novel toys, services, CDs and
other creative multimedia applications.
The workshop also will display software tools that have been
developed to manage and interpret data from a variety of missions
to the solar system’s planets and asteroids.
JPL’s Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office will
present a variety of opportunities for collaboration and
licensing in conjunction with educational products. The office
cooperates with U.S. businesses, both large and small, to
transfer technologies and other intellectual property to enhance
their competitiveness in the world market.
The workshop is free, but space is limited and pre-
registration is required. Registration forms are available at
the Web address
http://www-techtrans.jpl.nasa.gov/events.html. The form may be
faxed back to Joan Horvath at (818) 393-1366, or sent by e-mail
to joan.c.horvath@jpl.nasa.gov.
