Five employee groups totaling 380 workers were honored at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory this week for reducing lost-time injuries an average of 25 percent over the past year.
The Traffic and Transportation section received special mention for reducing lost-time personnel accidents 67 percent.
This is the second year of the three-year Safety Incentive Program involving the five sample work sections.
Key management executives presented plaques, banners and individual gifts to the 362 eligible employees, representing 92 percent of the workers in the five groups.
