Small businesses are invited to a workshop hosted by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego's Mission Valley. The workshop, "Doing Business with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory," is also sponsored by the San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center.
At the workshop, business owners will learn how to form partnerships with JPL and NASA. The highlighted speaker will be Thomas May, manager of the JPL Business Opportunities Office and Supplier Diversity Program. May will explain JPL's procurement process for general services and supplies, and the opportunities available for small businesses, as well as those owned by women, veterans and the disadvantaged.
At the end of the workshop, attendees will have an opportunity to discuss potential procurement opportunities with JPL supply chain personnel. Prime contractors in the San Diego area are also welcome to attend.
