May 04, 2004

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., will host the 8th annual Space Science Symposium for Small Business on June 10, 2004, at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza in Washington, D.C.

The symposium will feature senior officials showcasing NASA’s world of space science, Earth and life sciences, microgravity and other science-related programs and initiatives.

Interactive, informative sessions will cater to high-tech small businesses, highlighting business opportunities resulting from future programs and missions. Both NASA and JPL support high-tech small businesses and seek to expand their supplier base for future technical requirements.

Attendees will learn what skills, resources and technologies are needed to achieve NASA’s space science missions, programs and research. Participation is open to industry, academia and small businesses only.

Registration is $100 per attendee. Pre-registration is highly recommended no later than May 28, 2004, as space is limited. Hotel accommodations must be made prior to May 21, 2004 to obtain a special rate.
