Cool Science                         International Polar Year Begins 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Ocean Currents The strongest ocean current system in the world, called the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, links the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific basins. The Grace satellite is the first to see "through" to the sea floor, measuring monthly changes in the combined weight of ocean plus atmosphere.
