The surface of Uranus' moon Miranda appears jumbled together in a crazy way. This moon has one of the strangest and most varied landscapes in the solar system. On the right is a rugged, cratered, higher-elevation area. On the left is an area that is striated, or streaked, and at a lower elevation.
Uranus has 27 known moons. The Voyager 2 spacecraft took this image in 1986.
