Caltech to Host TEDx Event for Young Generation of Thinkers Join speakers for TEDxYouth@Caltech as they give the talk of their lifetime on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.

Fifteen speakers from various walks of life will give the "talk of their lifetime" on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, as Caltech hosts a TEDx event tailored to the discoveries, talents and dreams of today's youth.

The TEDxYouth event, open to all ages, will feature speakers including former JPL Mars rover engineer Rob Usiskin, Rubik's Cube master Tyson Mao, neuroscientist Audrey Chen, and physician and broadcast personality Drew Pinsky, among others, and offer opportunities for audience members to mingle and connect with the presenters.

Tickets are $5 for students (grades 6-12) and $25 for adults. Attendees can register online at or at the door starting at 10:30 a.m. (Event organizers recommend arriving by 10 a.m. to allow for pre-event networking and mingling.)
