Educators for grades 3 and up

Overview:

Geology meets art! Let your inner geologist use art to recreate craters, mountains, rivers, wind-driven landscapes and more. Learn to read planetary images as well as Earth images. This educator workshops meets Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for "Earth Systems: Earth's Place in the Universe" with climate change and social studies integration. Participants are invited to participate in a simulated space mission in the Challenger Learning Center after the workshop from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pre-registration is required.

Participants are required to bring in their teacher or student ID the day of each workshop.
